This little section was developed by us for making adaptable machine & fabrication beds.
store.alexco.co.nz proudly make this extrusion in New Zealand.
Its ideal for CNC routers, Engravers and whatever else you can dream up.
One face is designed to take our standard 40 series spring nuts, Tee bolts or Clamps. The other face and sides take our 20 series hardware.
The 40x20 machine bed is supplied in a mill finish (not anodised like our other extrusions). Being raw finish also makes it possible to mill the surface perfectly flat on router beds and keeps costs down.
Cut lengths up to 1600mm can be sent by standard courier
Cut lengths longer up to 2400mm can be sent by oversize courier
Cut lengths above 2400mm must be sent by Mainfreight. For heavy freight, your selected delivery address will need to be accessible for a delivery truck, and you will need to have the ability to manage & lift the crate off the truck. Alternatively we can arrange for delivery by Hiab crane truck. There will be an additional fee for this service.
Aluminium extrusion can be cut successfully with a standard builders drop saw or mitre saw. Make sure you have a sharp (new) fine tooth blade, and use light oil, CRC or kerosene to ensure a clean cut.
Note this profile has occasional perpendicular lines/blemishes & scuff marks present. These lines are at random, and are part of the way we have managed to keep the cost on this profile down.

We can now cut to your required lengths - add in the length and quantity you require cut.
Accuracy:
- For lengths between 100mm and 3000mm, we aim for a tolerance of +/- 0.5mm.
- For other lengths, we aim for a tolerance of +/- 1mm.
- All of each specified length will be cut exactly the same, with clean, square cuts.
