Shipping Policy

1. Domestic Shipping within New Zealand

  • Standard Delivery (small items and lengths under 25 kg or 1.6m):
    • Timeframe: Couriers willing, orders typically arrive within 1-2 business days after dispatch.
    • Cost: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size of your order.
  • Large Item Delivery Via Mainfreight or Mainstream (orders over 25 kg or 1.6m in length):
    • Carrier: Large items are shipped via Mainfreight or mainstream on a timber frame or pallet.
    • Arrival: Large orders typically arrive by curtain sider truck. You must have the necessary equipment & suitable access for immediate offloading.
    • Alternative Delivery Option: If preferred, we can arrange delivery to the nearest Mainfreight depot for you to arrange pickup.
    • Hiab or Flat-Deck Unloading: For deliveries requiring special unloading equipment, please arrange in advance. An additional fee is charged by the carriers, which we pass through at cost- typically around $180+gst.

2. Order Processing Times

  • Same-Day Dispatch: our goal is for orders received before 12:00 pm (NZST) to be dispatched the same day (Monday-Friday).
  • Processing for Larger Orders: Larger orders may require additional processing time for material cutting and preparation. We’ll work to complete these as quickly as possible.
  • Weekend/Holiday Orders: Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

3. Returns Policy

  • Change of Mind or Incorrect Orders: If you’ve ordered the wrong item or changed your mind, we’re happy to accept returns on materials in as-new condition.
    • Return Shipping: The return must be arranged and paid for by the purchaser
    • Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee applies to all returns of this type.
    • Cut to custom length extrusion cannot be returned.
  • On the odd occasion we make a mistake, we will arrange a replacement to be sent immediately, along with a return courier bag or label for you to return the incorrect material

4. Rural Delivery

  • Additional Time: Rural orders may take an extra 1-2 business days.
  • Additional charges apply for rural delivery: Rural Delivery Via freight we can do - please contact us to get a quote for the shipping.

5. Tracking Your Order

  • You’ll receive a confirmation & tracking number via email once your order is dispatched, allowing you to monitor the delivery on the courier’s or freight forwarder’s website.

6. Shipping & Returns FAQs

  • What should I do if my package is delayed or lost? First track the item using the tracking number we have provided.
    • If the order was attempted to be delivered and redirected - please contact the courier company directly to arrange
    • Email us with the order details. We’ll work directly with the courier to resolve any issues.

7. Pick up Orders

  • We will email you when the order is ready.   Pickup is during normal business hours, Monday-Friday.    Please note, we are a manufacturer, not a retail shop, and cannot process 'walk in' orders - please order directly through our website.
