Mill Run Profiles
Produced to order at our Wellington plant. We do not hold these profiles in stock, so a minimum mill-run quantity applies to make production economic.
Typical production runs are 150 to 500 kg, with larger runs being the most cost effective. Smaller runs may be possible, down to around 20 kg, but will usually carry a higher cost premium.
Because aluminium extrusion is a production process, exact order quantities cannot always be guaranteed. For mill runs, our standard shipping tolerance is plus or minus 10% of the ordered quantity.
Mill finish profiles are supplied raw, straight from the extrusion process. Minor handling marks, extrusion lines, smudges or surface variation may be visible and are considered normal for mill finish aluminium. This finish is generally best suited to functional or non-visual applications, or where the profile will be further processed, anodised, powder coated or fabricated.
With anodising and powder coating plants on site, we can also finish profiles to your requirements.
