40 x 40 mm aluminium T-slot / V-slot extrusion — 100% designed and made in New Zealand. The 40 Series workhorse for machine framing, guarding, workstations and automation.

• Material: 6060 aluminium
• Slot: 8 mm T-slot on all four faces
• Centre hole: tap to M8 or M10 with a standard metric or spiral tap
• Finish: mill, silver satin anodised, or powder-coated (including high-visibility safety-yellow)
• Lengths: 600, 1205, 2415 or 6050 mm — or cut to your custom length

Slot edges are chamfered to suit V-slot (Openbuilds-style) wheels, so the same profile takes both standard T-slot fasteners and V-slot motion components.

Jig marks: This is manufactured as an industrial product. Some anodised pieces will have jig marks from the anodising process up to 50 mm from each end, and these are more visible on black. Leaving these ends on rather than cutting them off as scrap minimises waste and keeps the cost down. The marks can usually be orientated to a non-visible position in your build. If your project needs an absolutely perfect surface, allow an extra 50 mm at each end when ordering and trim to length as required. We are unable to cut around jig marks at the factory.

Cuts cleanly with a sharp fine-tooth drop or mitre saw (use light oil, CRC or kerosene), or we cut to length for you to +/- 0.5 mm (100–3000 mm). Lengths up to 1600 mm ship by standard courier, up to 2400 mm by oversize courier, longer by freight. (Note: custom-cut pricing shows at checkout, not in the cart.)
